There is no separation between the divine and the mundane

This 6 month journey with cacao and the cosmology of mesoamerica, led by Marita, One Who Catches Lightning of The Path of IX, is for those called by the medicina of cacao, maize, and the earth, and just as equally the stars, the cosmos, the galactic element of creation.

This journey is an invitation to dreaming hearts to AWAKEN through the death of the illusion of separation between the divine and the mundane.

It is the structural work that changes our sense of our place in relationship to all things in existence, and thus shifts every step on our daily path, either in quality or direction.

It is a medicine that is deeply needed in these times, as structures crumble. It is a space created for those with experience walking a spiritual path for some time already, even if you do not have experience working with cacao, or mesoamerican cosmology and spiritual teachings.

In addition to working with Quetzalcoatl, we will be learning about the Mayan Calendar, but the way we will be approaching is not as another tool to place individual human beings at the center, to be leveraged to achieve all of our consumerist desires.

Instead, the calendar will be worked with as a pathway of merging the divine and the mundane, learning an orientation to living that recognizes every day, moment, and action as part of a natural and cyclical ceremony. And as part of this way of living, we have a sacred duty/opportunity to face all parts of ourselves as embodied reflections of the miraculous whole of the ceremonial circle of life.

This round of this set of teachings comes at a unique time in human history, and we are not ever going back to the “normal” that preceded it.

This medicine is focused on survival and adaptation and shaping our future through our choices in these times, but also an attunement to beauty, love, and interconnectedness from a woven indigenous perspective, even in times of great unrest and challenge.

Quetzalcoatl carries the medicine of heart and belief in the human spirit’s capability to face itself and live as a part of the greater divine oneness of this planet earth, this precious jewel amidst the cosmos. In many traditions it is said that Quetzalcoatl brought the calendar to the earth, and humans. And it is said that they also brought cacao.

Together we will explore and deepen into living from/through/with:

* ceremonial, cosmic, and life cycles of expansion and contraction

* development of relationship to your unique moment of creation (via the calendar)

* accountability for your conscious and unconscious role in creation

* deepening relationship and kinship with nature as a way to re-wild the creature that you are

* embodiment of purpose not as a goal but as a beingness

* moving away from a linear timeline as it connects value with achievement, and towards living as a part of creation as a whole

As another footstep along this millenia long path, this weaving of medicine is one of the major works that I’m here to be a part of bringing through in this life, and this newly extended 6 month offering is the most current evolution to be brought to those selected to join us.

Cacao & Cosmology

The newest collaboration between The Path of IX and Cuatro Manos y Cinco Volcanes Farms Cacao

This previously 4 week class has been extended to a 6 month series, to give the work time to do its work in you, and create more space for the complexity of these teachings.

This is the path of working with cacao for those who are not walking the way of the facilitator (click here to learn about facilitation training - our other 6 month cacao path).

These circles are for those who are on a committed spiritual path in their life, regardless of profession, identity, or location in the world. Though many here are practitioners of the spiritual and healing arts, not all are.

This is not an ideal circle for those just beginning on a spiritual path, and it is helpful if you come with some experience sitting in indigenous led spaces, and stepping into cultural settings that are unfamiliar and may be disruptive to expectations coming from dominant cultural norms of how teaching and spiritual spaces operate.

This journey will be supported with cacao from the island of Hawai’i that has never experienced slave or child labor. It has always been grown in reciprocity and sits with the energies of Pele who is forever expanding and creating from the void.

YOUR TEACHER

One Who Catches Lightning

My lineage is Zapotec Sephardine and my metaphysical and spiritual training includes work in the Lakota, Mayan, Aztec, Apache and Hopi traditions, working with Ascended Masters, past life regression, clearing and working with energy centers (chakras), ancestral healing, working with crystals and plant medicines, mediumship, clearing and protection of places/spaces, spiritual contracts, inner child work, and working with oracular card decks.

Chosen before birth for the medicine path, I have been trained ever since, and teach various subjects with the permission and at the request of the elders I have apprenticed with throughout my life. My specialty is weaving these esoteric and mystical traditions, and teaching those on the medicine path to live in deep and intentional relationship with creation.

The big island of Hawaii contains the most active volcanic energy in the world. The energy of new earth being made from the lifeblood of mother earth (lava) is vibrant in this cacao like no other I have had. it has a life force energy that the world needs now to heal as we step into a new age.

The cacao has said that the world needs this specific medicine to make the leap of consciousness that it needs so that we don’t go up in flames (kidding but not kidding). But she is not here to do that at the expense of her own value, and teaching you to protect your value.

This price is a reflection of the guidance that I have received to respect the medicina and this work.
