DR. NURSE PAULA

Dr. Nurse Paula Esteva Slack is a board certificated nurse practitioner. She started her career working at the VA at the age of 18 and went on to complete her Bachelors of Science in nursing. She worked in cardiac and intensive care at several hospitals in Southeast Michigan. During this time, she also taught at her alma mater on a variety on units including Mental Health, Cardiology, Cardiac surgery, Orthopedics, Trauma, Transplant, Neurology, Urology, Oncology, and Pulmonology. Paula then went on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Adult Gerontology at the University of Michigan Flint.
Through her over 10 years of nursing experience, Dr. Paula learned to treat the patient not just their disease through many complementary and alternative modalities. Her widely varied training has led to her love of complex chronic conditions, lifestyle medicine, mental health, manual manipulation and the mind body connection.
Dr. Nurse Paula is excited to collaborate with Cuatro Manos as she joins in this collaboration.

Dr. Nurse Paula blends is a collaboration with Cuatro Manos y Cinco Volcanes Farms to address the four main issues that are affecting humanity today: isolation, grief, exhaustion and overwhelm.
Drawing from traditional herbal remedies we combined the energetics as well as the healing aspects of these herbs and flowers.
