H?M?Kua translates to “Breath of God”. In ancient Hawaiian mythology it was said that the wind blows in from the East Coast carried by the Gods. This cacao is grown on the foothills of Mauna Kea, Hawaii’s most sacred mountain and a dormant volcano. It is considered the umbilical cord that connects the Hawaiian people to the great creator.
The Big Island of Hawaii contains the most active volcanic energy in the world. Lava, ?? The lifeblood of earth is being created here every day, so this cacao holds lifeforce energy and will assist you in new beginnings as we move forward, letting go of the old and embracing the new.

If we’re not growing it we buying cacao direct from local farmers. This allows us to establish long lasting relationships based on trust and quality. By cutting out intermediaries we can also pay our farmers higher prices for their crop.
